Jandy CS Series cartridge pool filters are available in three sizes - 100, 150 and 200 square foot models. CS filters utilize single element cartridges designed to provide the same great filtration as larger Jandy pool filter models, but in a more compact body. This pool filter's attractive, slim design will fit easily into even the smallest pool equipment areas.
Like other Jandy cartridge filters, the cartridge element on the CS pool filter can easily be removed, making it simple to care for and clean. It is designed for Jandy's Versa Plumb system to easily connect with the rest of your Jandy pool equipment while using minimal space on the equipment pad. The CS pool filter features easy grip, ergonomic handles for easy lid removal and extra large 2" drain ports for easy cleaning of debris in a small, compact thermoplastic body. A pressure gauge with a clean/dirty indicator makes it easy to assess pool filter condition.
Cleaning Your Cartridge Pool Filter
Unlike sand or DE filters, cartridge pool filters cannot be backwashed, and cartridges must be removed for cleaning. But the good news is that cartridge filters are a breeze to clean! Simply remove the cartridge from the tank (with the pump off), take it out, hose it off, and soak it in pool filter cleaner for eight hours (or overnight). After soaking, spray and rinse the cartridge, then put it back in the tank.
Since the soaking time for cartridge cleaning can interfere with pool use, you may want to keep two cartridges on hand so you always have a clean one to use while the other is soaking.
